FEPREN Y-710 is fine dry-milled ochre pigment FeOOH with good tinting-strength and hiding power. It is not affected by alkalis, proves high ligthfastness and weather resistance, heat resistance approx. 150ºC. Suitable for production of paints, both solvent-based and water-born systems, e.g. air-drying, nitrocombination, oil-bound and decorative, also for primers, undercoats and fillers. In building industry is good for production of cement-based plaster mixtures, syntetic plasters, colouring of concrete products like roof tiles, terrazzo, colour floor tiles (pigmentation of 5-7% calculated on dry weight of cement is sufficient). Can be used for pigmentation of plastics.
